A pair of Blue-and-gold macaws watches a departing flush of Mealy
parrots. This and most of the photos in this gallery were shot during
my only visit to the photographer's blind at the base of the large
claylick at TRC (a premium is paid to use it). I was lucky, as these
days the birds don't just go down on one section of the claylick,
but now prefer other sections, so its hit and miss if they will
come down on the section chosen to be close to.
