Chestnut-fronted macaws on the wing

Sometimes, one needs a bit of luck to get a favourite shot. I was seated in the blind at Posada Amazonas, watching the early morning activity. Chestnut-fronted (Severe) macaws don't always show up here, so I was excited when a small flock perched in the Cecropia over the claylick. I took this shot just as they took off in fright from a boat coming down the river.
