Cobalt-winged parakeet activity at Posada colpita

Who would realise that these little green parakeets could hide such brilliant blue beneath their wings? One afternoon I could hear the parakeets building up in numbers at the Posada colpita (inland claylick). I waited patiently for hours until they came down to feed. It was great to watch them playing and fighting. I got this shot as a nervous group took flight. Several individuals remain on the lower edge of a hole eaten out by Collared peccary.
